Existentialism (Intro)

Existentialism Philosophy

  • Philosophy that individuals create their own meaning in their lives, as opposed to having a higher power creating it for them, despite obstacles and distractions.
  • Existentialist believe that life has no meaning because we are all here for no reason other than the fact that our parents gave birth to us.

    Atheistic, Theistic and Absurdism
All of theses philosophical ways of thinking all agree that people make their own meanings in life. But they all have different ways of creating that meaning. Absurdist think that it is not essential and seem to be pessimistic, Theistic have faith in God and Atheistic do not believe in God but do think it's essential to create a meaning in their own lives. For some the pursuit of the meaning of the universe is impossible but, they all have the solution for an individuals desire to seek some sort of meaning.
